Programs for Children

 

ACCELERATED READING

The library offers Accelerated Reading tests for most childrens books in our collection. Students enrolled at Medina ISD may take tests on our networked computer for school credit.

Programs for Adults

In addition to occasional special public programs the library itself sponsors relating to topics of local interest (past programs have ranged from archeology to digital photography to rainwater harvesting), it also hosts a variety of meetings, events and activities sponsored by other community groups.

All of these activities are free, and the public is most welcome. Currently, group meetings held regularly at the library include the following:

Medina Genealogical and Historical Society - 2nd Tuesday, 10:15 AM

Medina Cancer Support Group- 1st Monday, 7 PM

Medina Quilters - 3rd Monday, 6:00 PM

Stonecroft Friendship Bible Study - Thursdays 10:15 AM
